SELF GROOMING

Hello all,

Change is a necessary element of our life; it has a vital effect on seasons, people, days and nights. Many people are revolutionary in nature and innovative in their lives. These type of persons love to change themselves in a perfect way. This urge of change and perfectionism is the key to success and lead us to the way of self-grooming. These words like self-grooming, revolution, ambition etc are undoubtedly big ones to say but when we bring them to our lives, they need not many efforts from a willing person.
Introduction of the world to a newborn baby is the people, their behaviors, atmosphere, and surroundings.  Sometimes these things and the atmosphere is good, many time bad and a few time awesome. We absorb our atmosphere in us and show our actions being manipulated with these surroundings. These are afterward called our habits; apart from fact that these are good or bad.
After passing a little time in this, many of us go to school, high school, colleges, and universities. These institutions and company of friends also influence us in various ways. This age is the second stage of learning. We grab much useful knowledge in this age. People from different backgrounds show the versatility of life to a learning kid. Friendship gives new meaning to recognize the personalities of others.
At the age of maturity or in practical life, everyone has a clear vision of self-awareness. We almost know about our capabilities and can groom ourselves in a specific field. This stage is very important where we have to choose and decide a field for our entire life. Some get success easily and many have to struggle throughout their lives. There is one more category that at firstly choose the wrong way but upon realizing the mistake, jump into their loving place and live happily ever after.
Life is not easy for all, many people face difficulties in their lives. This is the time when we need to groom ourselves for new challenges. Many of us are a misfit in our professions or jobs. For example, a person loves to sing but dragged to a 9 to 5 job. We can observe such situations with different styles in everyday life.  Now, what can we do? No problem at all. Nothing is impossible. Do not leave the field, no need to show it your back. A true one is always judged in crisis. Make yourself as right choice; mold yourself according to the atmosphere. Take it as a challenge; groom yourself by studying related literature or ask a senior for help. Once we overcome the situation we can easily keep our hobbies.
Grooming is something that is related to success only, no matter what you are doing. It is a bossy job or a repair work. When we enjoy our work and try to improve it; it will definitely pay back in shape of appreciation and success. One more thing is necessary is steadiness; a constant struggle is a key to success. Self-grooming needs no institutions or study; one can also groom itself by through observation. People and society is also a huge institution to learn.
Self-grooming is not limited in its meanings; studies and learning are not all. By grooming ourselves we portray our personality, skills, attitude, potential etc. Change of dressing is also a part of it; we should match to our atmosphere. A serious job requires serious and formal dressing and behaviors also matter in presenting yourselves. A little touch up changes the entire personality. We should also move towards latest trends and styles. This little changes keep your mind fresh ans active.
Although, there are an example of rigid people who think they are good in all way. They rarely want to change their lives and bind themselves to their so called principles. If we see some kind of success in such person, that is absolutely luck and nothing else. Most of them are not favorite one to any. Man is a social animal and mostly socializing at social media these days. Now, the fact is that head counts at friend list and likes matter a lot. Only adaptable people achieve the friendship of many. So, we need to change and groom ourselves according to the time and atmosphere.
Always try to do good for others and do not think for rewards or appreciations, a true happiness is a reward, a true friendship is a reward and a good change is a reward. Groom yourself and feel happiness in your life.

Best regards.

WATER SCARCITY

Hello all,
We have almost 2/3 of our planet covered with water but still, we are facing water scarcity. Well, it is a shortage of fresh drinking water that is required to fulfill our nutrient values and health. According to various surveys around 1.2 billion people are facing this situation. At a rough count, it is almost 1/5 of the total world population.
People living in urban and remote areas, both are facing the problem in different ways but in remote areas it is worse. Mostly in remote areas, there is no water filtration system available to fulfill their needs. This severe condition constrains them to use polluted and unhygienic water from ponds, canals and rivers. Ponds appear with rainwater, it is a bowl shape or pool type area that collects the water in rain season. Both animals and humans drink and use the water from same place leading them to different diseases. An old way of water source is to dig a well for fresh water but it is not much common these days due to the fact that availability of fresh water is very deep.
In urban areas, it is in different way. Population is growing and officials are helpless to fulfill their basic needs. People living in main cities are facing the crisis and those who are well off, purchase fresh water at higher rates. Poor ones are in bad condition they have to wait in lines for their turn to get a bucket of fresh water. Sometimes they quarrel, pull, injure and say harsh words to each other. It is due to the frustration building within them, they have no way to release it out.
It is not a situation that came at once, our masterminds were quite aware of it for long. Many of us heard the sentence that “third world war will be fought at water resources”. These think tanks are geniuses and they started to prepare weapon for wars and ignored the real problem. Although research work is on its way to find new ways to convert sea water into fresh water but it is still at limited level. Our heavy budgets are still focusing on military power and new missile and arms.
Well, it is a matter of existence of mankind and our future obviously. How can we ignore it? We are trying to reach different planets and not using the available resources. It is an age of science and technology so why not to emphasis on main issue. I am sure there is no hurdle in it except the power game. We have many raw minds that are actually capable to overcome the problem. What we need is to start this job at grass root level. Countries start big projects for the betterment of their people like huge dams etc but according to the scenario, it is required to spread it at low level with controls over it.

People are thirsty in most part of the world and we should take initiatives to help them. Big minds should come forward and facilitate them. It is all around the world; either it is Africa or Asia. Organizations like WHO are not enough, they are doing their best but numbers of victims are increasing day by day. Some more efforts are the requirement of time. I request to cut the budget for huge and destructible arms and invest it at the betterment of people.
Best regards.

CHOOSE YOUR WAY

Hello all,

Actually, our brought up is a little bit complicated and tricky in South Asia, parents put their incomplete desires to their children in shape of toys or fun-based activities. Children learn and absorb from their surroundings. Whatever parents provide them, it made up their minds accordingly. Our incomplete desires or unachieved goals are like we want to be a doctor, singer, architect or engineer but circumstances lead us to be a banker, teacher or a 9 to 5 employee. So we made up our mind to complete this ambition in our children.  As parents, we manipulate our children to promote their interest according to our will. These activities draw the attention of a raw mind of a growing kid and later they became keen on this behavior.

Well, I am not saying that these are not good activities; sometimes it is necessary but not always. My concern is that we make them restricted to few things and set patterns. I think that is the reason in the third world, that thoughts are a stereotype.  Being traditional is not bad but we need to settle in new requirements that are necessary to live in a society which is not bound to one planet only. Our rigidness may cause difficulty to teenagers to choose right at the point of their decision.
Teenage is a stage when kids have to decide their future. They start to learn according to their choices that can be helpful in their practical life, so as parents we need to support them. I personally, try to support my daughter for her career studies.  I never made up my mind for my children future in a specific field, I always appreciated them to research and find new ways of their interest. Although they are still confused rather it is a right choice or not but whatever it is, I am with them with a parental advisory that they need to stick at one field and do not wander on others directives.
In our society there are many free advisors are available in every walk of the life, everyone is a master and genius. They try to convince others that the way they have chosen is wrong. They pretend to be the only well-wishers to young ones. They manipulate them to change their path. It is all done in a friendly way but still, I think it is a forceful act that is not good. Our future will be bright if we apply our theory to our relevant field.
There are few who never influenced with their contiguous and felt free to live according to their thoughts. This category of geniuses brings best for themselves and worlds as well. Listening to your inner voice is as necessary as all other necessities of our life. Our inner, never betray us in our life if we listen to it carefully. There is some confusion in inner voice and manipulation and we are the only ones who can differentiate them.  All we need is to judge ourselves, who we are and what is our requirement for life. We should set out goals and act accordingly. Being focused and consistent brings success although it is a bit late; it is better late. Patience is the key to victory.

The final words for today, we should provide our children an environment that brings them vast choices. They should not be limited to some boundaries. On the other hand, a parental restriction of right or wrong is must; parents have their experiences to share. Youngsters may apply those experiences in their way. So that they could grow and flourish in modern society and make our world more beautiful and safe; free of arms, hate, drugs, terrorism and all negative things.

Best regards.

STREET CHILDREN

Hello all,
labor5
Street child

We observe many children wandering in streets, they collect many re-usable items out of the trash for their earnings or beg all the day long. According to statistics, the count of these children has been reached to almost 1.2 million in Pakistan. I think the count is more as we observe no survey in past many years. Approximately all of them are illiterate and homeless, due to many circumstances. Most of them are the children of homeless parents and lot are run away from their homes, escaping from impropriate, abusive and violent attitude of their parents or guardians.

How one soft and sympathetic hearted person can oversee these barefooted children; doing work apart from the severity of the weather, either it is hot or cold? They have no time to play, many beggars play and enjoy with each other while traffic signal is green and start to work as it turns into red. They have been deprived of all the basic needs i.e. food, cloth, education, home and better future. Whenever we look at their eyes it seems they are questioning or demanding the rights they deserve. They must have many questions on their minds but have no way to express them and they are silent. Their silence is dangerous which will absolutely burst out distinctly and society has to bear the consequences.
They never protested for their rights. They never ask authorities to solve their problems. Whenever they see our children availing all the benefits and enjoying their lives, these questions surely pinch them deep in their mind;
Why we can not avail all these happiness?
Why we are living without a roof under the open sky?
Who is responsible for our uncertain future?
Will there be any change in our miserable life?
Why I cannot play with toys?
Was I born to laborious work only?
We do not have answers to these or we are avoiding doing so. We celebrate the days and write many things about them but practically, there are few who come ahead to solve their problems. According to me, as many of us agree, they need at least basic education. Government authorities can manage it properly because they have a lot of resources and funding for this reason. But there are many complications with government machinery. They have many tactics for delays and political hurdles involved everywhere. So people should come forward to help such children.
As these street children are financially supporting their families and cannot afford to pay the fee or give time for proper schooling. The persons or private organizations, who are interested in this noble cause, can help them to teach at evening timings. They do not need difficult syllabus to teach, all needed is to familiarize them with books reading and writing skills. Most of them are grown up children and difficult to patronize. They are hard to handle but not impossible. There are many examples of such fake organizations those are not interested in the welfare of children. Their entire motive is just to attract funding from all over the world. That is an awful situation; we should work for such children with a true heart.
street3They have already been dragged into a world where they face abusive language, exploitation, and bullying by sick minds. They have lost their identity and dignity. By giving them support we can avoid crimes, be begging, child labor and many illegal and unethical works. It is beneficial for not only to those ignored children but also it will be fruitful for our society.

Education is the only solution that can help them to grow and flourish in the world. There must be many masterminds hidden in between them. World require their abilities; do not perform this job for namesake do it as charity and charity begin at home. Find someone around you, look at his/her responsibilities and make the priorities in this regard accordingly. If someone is well off, should provide them with a loan as a support for their education. Another way to prop up is to provide the child with technical education so they can earn in a respectable way.
Best regards.

EUNUCH – STRUGGLE FOR RECOGNITION

Hello all,
Recently, I have watched T.V drama on “ARY digital” with the title “Khuda Mera Bhi hai” meaning “God is mine too”. The subject was acceptance of eunuch as a child and a citizen. Most of the civilized countries have no issues in this regard, people with this gender are living a satisfied life there but in Asia, this gender is not treated as they deserve. We have a discriminatory attitude towards them. There was an era when they have respectful status in the palaces of Mughal emperors.
In our society, a lot of people want to hear this sentence at the time of delivery “congratulations, it is a baby boy”, there are few who are satisfied with a baby girl but situation worsens when it is the third gender. Most of the parents refuse to accept such a child right after the birth. They think that it is shameful to accept them and society will make fun of this incident.  People assume such parents as unhealthy in a way that they are unable to give birth to a boy or a girl.
This is a tradition since centuries in South Asia; many illiterate people blame mothers for the birth of a girl or a eunuch. They also praise the mother for a baby boy. People have no concern with science and research; they have their sayings, stereotypes, and customs to follow. It is not only with those who are living in remote areas but many so-called civilized and highly educated minds do not want to accept this reality. These children are mostly given to a “Guru” (an old transgender taking care of such gender). The problem starts from this stage; they are being spoiled and thrown away as a waste for their whole life.
Gurus have a tradition to train such children for dance and singing. This training has no concern with perfection it is just for the sake of fun. When these children grow up, they dance and sing in streets and on several occasions. Once, it was a tradition to call them at weddings and birthdays. Many people think that their prayers and blessings are pure and will be accepted soon, so they called them at time of birth of a baby boy.  This tradition is rare these days and eunuchs have mostly become beggars. You can observe many of them with makeup and with ladies’ outfits at almost every traffic signal. They have a different style of begging, normally they keep blessing you until you gave them some money but it should be a big currency, they are not contented with coins. Many times, I witnessed that they throw the charity back if they are not happy with the amount. There are many who still dance and earn their living but a lot of them are involved in crimes and unethical activities. It is obvious, such ignored and discarded people can easily be trapped and used by criminals. Hence, they are now involved in so many other illegal activities.
Problem is the recognition of such children in our society, parents who dare to accept such children are often humiliated by others. They would make fun of them for being supportive of the eunuchs. These children are being treated as aliens, humiliated in our society. No parents like them to play with their children or be their friends. Though’ there is an appropriate word to call them i.e. “ Khwaja Sara” which was basically a title for them back in the Mughal dynasty. But, they are being called with different abusive names like “Khusra”, “Na-Mard”, “Heejra”, “Chakka” and many more. Their school and college fellows make fun of them without any reason and they are not supposed to react against such behavior and are demanded to bear the bullying silently.
Although we observe some change in our society that people are educating their minds in this regard but still there is a lot to do. It is such a pity this gender was never considered officially until recently when they were finally acknowledged as lawful citizens and can now apply for National Identity card.Eunuchs are now aware of their rights and protested several times for their demands.
The T.V Show that I mentioned above took a brave and bold step towards a selfless society and awareness. They motivated people to come forward and accept all the realities attached to this creation of God. They are not being thrown away from anywhere; they are as real as we are. Acceptance will make them beneficial for them and for society as well. They have a mind and feel like others; they can be a creative one, worker, sales rep., businessman, teacher, researcher, even manager and much more. All we need is a change in our perspectives. Once again, well-done team ARY Digital.

Best regards.

TO BE CONTINUED……

Hello all,
“TO BE CONTINUED…..”
I don’t know why but whenever I saw these words at the end of any T.V program; I felt excited. It brings me a hope that there is still something additional that could be more informative or entertaining. I like all sequels of movies; thrilling, science fiction or romantic type. I love to watch every part although the first one was good or not. I think there is always a chance for excellence and as it is said: “THE SHOW MUST GO ON!”.
Life is a teacher that taught us silently to grab the experience through passing moments. Continuity is also a lesson for me, I never gave up. At the end of every chapter of my life, I had a hope that there is still something more interesting and meaningful on my way ahead. What needed is a struggle, wait and not to lose hope. It is my perception towards life that death is the only end and before that, there is no finish.
Disappointment is a curse that pulls out all our positivity and let us wanders in the darkness. It gathers a fog of uncertainty in our minds and paralyzes our abilities. We need to overcome it especially when we found ourselves in tough circumstances. Although, there are many crucial times when someone feels lonely and finds no way out from dilemma but still there are a lot of positive ways to tackle the situation. At this stage, one should be tolerant and patient by letting the time pass without any resistance. I know it is tough but it worked all the time in my life. My friends! I assure you that all will be in the good direction. This gesture will clear the path and change your destiny.
You can call it a miracle or whatever but according to me, it is to bring your positivity out of you to face the complexity. There is already an end to our life that not known when it will come, so why die before that time. We humans are not to let ourselves down against tough circumstances. One should find the solution and survive anyway.
Life is all about tripping over, standing up, brushing off, getting a posture and continuing the journey that had paused momentarily. Was there ever a time when you felt like quitting but you carried on? Do share in comments.
Best regards.

HOBBIES

Hello all,

Being human is unique because we are not restricted to make efforts for our appetite and sleep only but we have to feed our mind and soul for their refreshment. For this very reason, we have an urge to select some hobbies for self-satisfaction. People around us have many hobbies such as games, cooking, gardening, keeping pets, hiking, socializing, gossips, chatting, movies and many more. Obviously, android games are ahead of all and have made many people addicted.
Hobbies are necessary for us in order to spend our spare time in some positive way as we all know “Empty mind is a devil’s workshop”. With the change in our routines, many things have changed. Once tickets and coin collecting was a very popular hobby in many. In my school days, there was an old man sitting outside our school with three to four albums of tickets in his lap. Many boys including one of my friends, Asif, were keen to sit there and search for something new to elaborate their collections. There were commitments to bring more and unique stamps and exchange was also a routine. Many of them had so many, that they could exchange it for a handsome amount of money but that was just a hobby and not for financial needs. I had also collected some of them but it never caught my interest. I had at that time collected some rare coins that were with me for long but after shifting two to three places, I have misplaced them.
Music has always been my passion, I never cared for the type of music and whatever attracted me was my favorite. Still, my choice is same, I like classics of Mehdi Hassan, Iqbal Bano, Teena Sani, Fareeda Khanum, Manna Day and popular of Alamgir, Nazia Hassan, Zohaib, Junoon, Noori and many more. Film singers are countless like Madam Noor Jahan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Nayyara Noor, Naheed Akhtar, Mehnaz, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh and many more. English songs were also on my favorite list but it discontinued right after my first job because there was no one to share and after some time, I left to hear them regularly. There are very few like, Boney M tracks, Last Christmas I gave you my heart, I just want to say I love you, Titanic’s Everytime, Waka Waka, Justin Bieber’s Baby etc. Being specified in music is difficult for me and all types help me to change my mood. I am never the type to listen to sad songs in the heavy mood but I always try to break the temper. “Ghazals(A type of singing in South Asia)” are the only type of music that is not popular with people around me but I love to listen anytime. My favorite is from Abida Parveen, Mehdi Hassan, Jagjeet Singh or Iqbal Bano. The most favorite form of music is “Sufi” and “Folk” both are popular internationally.
Gardening is a hobby that is identified mostly for retired persons but I took this interest from my late mother. She loved to gather some typical types of plants and trees in our home. There were Roses, Jasmine, Guava, Grapes and some vegetables in our kitchen garden. Afterward, my friend Asif also polished my interest and I am still fond of gardening. It is a good use of spare time and also gives satisfaction when you see your hard work has become fruitful in shape of a beautiful flower, a lush green tree or with the organic kitchen garden. The Internet is a good tutor and anyone can start at any time with all the tutorials available on YouTube or any other social site.
DIY’s (Do it yourself) are also very helpful in choosing new interests. People share their experience in a simple way and helping others to adopt new ideas. We should choose only specified and simple tutorials and try to avoid difficult ones at the start. According to me, a difficult procedure will lose the interest of a beginner but a little time-consuming idea will develop the curiosity. Lengthy procedures are helpful but in later stages.
Well, many of us already have their choices. Choose something different, few for self-satisfaction, some for creation, many to relive your daily life and a lot for human betterment. Charity and welfare are also very helpful for inner satisfaction. There are many needy around us, looking for our attention, so try to come ahead. The choice is yours as it is your life.
Best regards.
